SKYEPHARMA, ENDO END PROPOFOL PACT

Drug developer SkyePharma PLC said Friday that it ended its partnership with Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. to develop the injectable anesthetic Propofol IDD-D. The London-based company said it licensed the drug to Endo back in December 2002 under the partnership. Propofol was successful in mid-stage, or Phase II, clinical trials.
