ZIMBABWE: ECONOMIC CRISIS HAMPERS ARV ROLLOUT

Foreign currency shortages are hobbling Zimbabwe's efforts to treat thousands of HIV-positive people in urgent need of antiretroviral (ARV) drugs. Acting director of the National Pharmaceutical Company, Charles Mwaramba, said his firm was struggling to meet public demand for ARVs as a result of the economic crisis.
