MICRUS ENDOVASCULAR GETS FDA COURIER OK
May 16, 2006
Medical device maker Micrus Endovascular Corp. said Tuesday that the Food and Drug Administration approved its Courier line of microcatheters. The company said it will launch the Courier line immediately in the United States. The FDA decision comes after the agency approved Micrus' Watusi guidewire platform last Thursday for use in placing devices such as catheters into the brain by way of the circulatory system.
