LUPIN POSTS TWO FOLD INCREASE IN Q4 NET

Pharmaceutical company, Lupin Ltd on Wednesday posted a two fold increase in net profit at Rs 50.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31 as against Rs 21.73 crore for the same quarter during the year 2004-05. Total income rose 54.60 per cent to Rs 463.02 crore for the fourth quarter in the financial year 200506 from Rs 299.48 crore a year-ago, the company informed the stock exchanges.
