GLAXO STICKING WITH BRITAIN DESPITE THREATS

GlaxoSmithKline Plc, Europe's biggest drugmaker, has no intention of quitting Britain, despite threats from animal rights activists, its chief executive said on Wednesday. "GlaxoSmithKline is an important company in the UK, and we have strong roots in this country and we have very important research centres in this country and this presence will remain," Jean-Pierre Garnier said in a radio interview.
