KOBAYASHI PHARMACEUTICAL REPORTS FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED MARCH 31, 2006

Kobayashi Pharmaceutical, Ltd., a leading importer and distributor of medical equipment, and pharmaceutical wholesaler, has announced consolidated financial results for the full fiscal year ended March 31, 2006. Sales were strong in each of the Company's three principle groups — Consumer Products Operations, Wholesale Operations and Medical Devices Operations — and as result Kobayashi is pleased to announce year-on-year increases in sales and profits for the eight consecutive year since the introduction of consolidated accounting.
