LABOPHARM GRANTS GLAXO ONCE-DAILY TRAMADOL RIGHTS IN MEXICO

Labopharm Inc. (DDSS) has granted GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) exclusive rights to distribute its once-daily tramadol product in Mexico. The Laval, Que. pharmaceutical company said the agreement expands the existing licensing and distribution arrangement between it and Glaxo, entered into in September 2005, for 20 Latin American and Caribbean countries.
