AMS: LASERSCOPE DEAL TO DILUTE '07 EARNINGS

American Medical Systems Holdings Inc. said Thursday its $715 million acquisition of Laserscope Inc. will cut into its 2007 net earnings per share, but add to earnings starting in 2008. Minnetonka-based AMS said it expects revenue to grow 20 percent to 24 percent for 2007 and 2008 combined.
