LUMENIS' SELECTA II APPROVED IN CHINA

Lumenis said Monday China's medical-device regulatory authority approved its Selecta II device for treatment of glaucoma. "While the use of (Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty technology) has increased rapidly since Lumens' family of Selecta laser systems gained FDA clearance, we continue to identify and pursue untapped markets for our technologies," said Avner Raz, Lumenis' president and chief executive officer.
