PURE BIOSCIENCE REPORTS THIRD QUARTER AND NINE-MONTH RESULTS

PURE Bioscience today reported financial results for the third quarter and nine-month period ended April 30, 2006. For the third quarter, the Company reported revenues of $44,300 from continuing operations, as compared with revenues of $41,400 in the third quarter of the prior year. The Company reported a third quarter loss from continuing operations before taxes of ($871,500), or ($0.04) per share, as compared with a loss of ($528,800), or ($0.04) per share in the same period last year.
