STATE MAY HELP FUND FIGHT AGAINST CANCER

Acting Premier Anna Bligh said yesterday that Queensland would consider jointly funding a national plan to immunise girls against cervical cancer. Ms Bligh offered support for the proposal by pharmaceutical company CSL Ltd to give the breakthrough cervical cancer vaccine to all Year 7 girls.
