The number of seniors with drug coverage has decreased, according to an Associated Press article cited by blogger Peter Pitts. In his entry, Pitts takes issue with this statement, noting that "because many of the 3 million beneficiaries being counted as getting coverage through the Veterans Affairs Department had switched over to a private plan under Medicare Part D … they were being counted twice."
