BIOMANUFACTURING FOCUS BEHIND COGNATE NAME CHANGE

A Baltimore biotechnology company has changed its name to better reflect its shift from a drug development firm to one helping customers commercialize new therapies. Cognate BioServices Inc. is the new name for the company formerly known as Cognate Therapeutics, executives said Monday.
