ANDRX STOCKHOLDERS OK WATSON BUY

Andrx Corp. shareholders have approved Watson Pharmaceuticals to buy the company. At a special meeting earlier Wednesday, the holders in Fort Lauderdale-based Andrx adopted the agreement and merger plan Andrx entered with Corona, Calif.-based Watson Pharmaceuticals entered March 12.
