TEVA, BARR AMONG 8 BIDDERS FOR PINEWOOD LABS

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. of Jerusalem and Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. of Woodcliff Lake, N.J., are among eight bidders for Pinewood Laboratories, a Tipperary, Ireland, generic-drug maker, the Sunday Times of London reported. Bids could reach 120 million euros, or about $153 million, the paper said. Also vying for Pinewood are Stada of Germany, Actavis Group HF of Iceland and Cadila Healthcare Ltd. of India, the Times reported.
