Healthcare services provider Cardinal Health Inc. said Wednesday that it plans to acquire privately-held medical analytics firm MedMined Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Cardinal Health said the move will extend its portfolio of patient safety solutions in the areas of hospital-acquired infections and antimicrobial management.
