Pfizer Inc. faces 17 purported personal-injury lawsuits that claim the company concealed health risks associated with its Lipitor cholesterol drug. The New York prescription drug company did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The plaintiffs allege Pfizer used deceptive marketing practices by promoting Lipitor as a drug with minimal health risks.
