TEVA TEAMS UP WITH SMALL GENERIC FIRM TO DISTRIBUTE, MARKET PRODUCTS

Small generic newcomer Synerx Pharma has entered into a marketing and distribution agreement with Teva Pharmaceutical, Synerx announced.

Specific names of the products currently being developed for later distribution by Teva were not disclosed, but a source at Synerx did provide a general sense of the type of products in the company's pipeline.

"We are developing injectables, topical and oral products for the market," Synerx Vice President Walter Jump said. He declined to the name specific products involved in the partnership, citing competitive reasons. He said the agreement involves a portion of the 10 products his company currently has in production.

Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
