Applications Library for Leak, Functionality Testing

Medical devicemakers seeking application-specific information on leak testing and functional testing medical products have a new online library of leak test and functional test applications.

Some of the test applications initially included in the library are:

Calibration and functional test of a demand oxygen delivery system;

Automatic calibration and test of a family of pressure switches at a rate of 220 pounds per hour;

Fixture design facilitating leak tests of large, thin, flexible exhaust recuperator components; and

Mass flow leak testing of blood collection kits.

Intertech Development said it is making this library available to help companies "gain a better understanding of how factors such as fixture design, systems integration and customization of test instruments bear on gauge R&R in real-world applications."
