Generic Drug-Makers Get Boost on Biotech

Makers of generic drugs such as Lake Forest-based Hospira Inc. could apply to sell copies of medicines made by Amgen Inc., Genentech Inc. and other biotech companies under legislation approved Wednesday by a Senate panel.
