Firm Cited for Using Finger Test on Devices

Devicemaker Avazzia received a warning letter after the FDA said it used unvalidated device acceptance procedures to test its transcutaneous electro-stimulators. The firm’s final test procedure, “using the fingers to feel the device output during factory testing,” is not a validated scientific test method, the letter said.
