Abbott CFO: FDA Plans Panel Review for Xience Stent

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration told Abbott Laboratories (ABT) on Monday that it plans to schedule an advisory panel review for the “Xience” drug-coated stent that Abbott hopes to bring to the U.S., an Abbott official said Tuesday.
