FDA Repeats Warning Against Prescribing Nizoral

May 26, 2016

In a safety alert issued last week, the agency notes that physicians continue to prescribe the drug for minor skin and nail fungal infections, despite a 2013 labeling change for the drug warning that it can cause serious liver damage.
