Holds on Clinical Trials Lifted in India, the US

The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) has lifted a suspension it imposed on clinical trials of Wyeth’s pneumonia vaccine Prevnar 13, and the FDA has ended clinical holds on Stem Cell Therapeutics’ stroke treatment and on Nile Therapeutics’ CD-NP treatment for acute heart failure and renal insufficiency.
