Animas today announced positive results from the second phase of human clinical trials for its first-generation artificial pancreas project, which is aimed at developing an automated system to help people with type 1 diabetes better control their disease. The data relates to the closed loop insulin delivery system in development by the West Chester Pa., medical device company.
