FDA Approves Implantable Pulse Generator to Reduce Seizures
NeuroPace plans to launch its RNS Stimulator in the U.S. as soon as possible, following last week’s FDA approval of the novel anti-seizure device. The RNS Stimulator consists of a small neurostimulator implanted under the scalp, which is then connected by wires to the location within the brain where the patient’s seizures are believed to originate.
