CFDA Seeks to Safeguard Integrity of Inspections Using Double Random Approach
The Chinese Food and Drug Administration is looking to adopt a double-blind approach to its inspections to improve oversight and limit corruption.
The approach works by randomly selecting the company and inspector. In the past, randomization only occurred for the companies. The CFDA expects the change will act as a deterrent to committing fraud by keeping companies and officials in the dark about investigations.
