HHS Compiles International Regulations on Human Research Protections
HHS has compiled listings of more than 1,000 international laws, regulations and guidelines related to human research subject protections.
The list spans 126 countries and includes European Union regulations and international guidelines and declarations. For the U.S., the compilation names relevant legislation and regulations, including CFR citations, and lists them by governing federal agency.
Published annually by the department’s Office for Human Research Protections, the latest version adds laws and regulations from six new countries: Benin, Bermuda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominican Republic, Guyana, and Senegal.
