WL Gore & Associates, (Gore) has been granted FDA approval for an expandable-balloon stent system for the treatment of aortic branches, including the iliac artery branch.

The stent does not require pre-dilation, which reduces the number of balloons required and the longer length specification reduces the need for multiple stents. — Cynthia Jessup
