New Analysis Says Payments From Opioid Makers Increase Doctors’ Likelihood to Prescribe Them
Doctors are five times more likely to prescribe a brand name drug if they receive payments from a pharmaceutical company for that drug, and the likelihood increases to 14.5 times for specific opioids, according to a new analysis from CareDash.
