The FDA has cleared a new component for use with Neocis’ Yomi, a robot-assisted dental surgery system, that makes it compatible with more computerized tomography (CT) scanners.
The new component reduces the system’s CT scanner field-of-view requirements, increasing its compatibility with a wider variety of scanners across larger ranges of fields-of-view, according to Neocis.
The Yomi system is indicated for use in assisting with preoperative and intraoperative stages of dental implantation surgery, offering computerized navigation.
