FDA Hosts Virtual Meeting on Patient-Focused Drug Development for Stimulant Use Disorder
The FDA is hosting a virtual public meeting today on patient-focused drug development for stimulant use disorder.
The agency hopes to learn more from patients about the abuse of stimulant drugs, such as cocaine, crystal meth, methamphetamines or prescription stimulants like Adderall and Ritalin.
Specifically, the agency wants to hear from patients, family members, advocates and caregivers about the health effects, the impact of opioid and polysubstance use, treatment goals and the factors considered when seeking a treatment.
The meeting will start at 12:30 p.m. EDT. Click here for details: bit.ly/33xexLB.
