HeartHero has been granted the CE mark for Elliot, a portable, lightweight automated external defibrillator.
The device uses standard batteries and weighs approximately one pound so it can be used in a variety of settings, including in the home. It also gives step-by-step voice commands in multiple languages.
The device is small enough to fit in a purse or backpack and can automatically contact emergency services to shorten response times.
