UK-based Advanced Medical Solutions (AMS) announced that it has acquired Raleigh Adhesive Coatings, a wound-care and bio-diagnostics coatings developer, for approximately $29.4 million.
AMS said the purchase will strengthen its position in the wound-care sector by bringing in-house Raleigh’s specialist services for acrylic and silicone coating, which are currently outsourced.
Raleigh is the only independent British company that offers acrylic and silicone gel contract coating for wound-care products, AMS said.
