BIOCORP and Diabeloop have announced a cooperation agreement to develop new, personalized treatment devices for diabetes patients.
BIOCORP developed and sells Mallya, an intelligent sensor for insulin-injection pens that monitors doses, while Diabeloop has developed automated insulin-delivery systems, including a self-learning handset that connects to a continuous glucose-monitoring solution and insulin pump.
The agreement will combine Diabeloop’s automated solutions with BIOCORP’s insulin-pen technology.
