EyeYon Medical, an Israeli ophthalmic devicemaker, has been granted CE mark certification for EndoArt, a corneal edema implant.
The device, which is implanted through a minimally invasive, sutureless procedure, keeps fluids from transferring into the eye’s cornea, preventing the creation of edema.
The implant is based on a polymer film attached to the posterior corneal surface that cures corneal edema.
