Supertex Offers New Medical Ultrasound Drivers
May 3, 2005
Supertex introduced the HV219, a low switch resistance, low charge injection, 8-channel, high-voltage analog switch integrated circuit (IC) that is perfectly suited for use in medical ultrasound imaging applications. The IC utilizes high-voltage bilateral DMOS switches and low power CMOS logic to provide efficient control of high voltage signals, up to 200V. In medical ultrasound applications, this allows for higher transmitting voltages that provide deeper body tissue imaging.
