MEDTRONIC INTRODUCES NEW SURGICAL DEVICE

Medtronic recently introduced a new device for use in spinal fusion surgeries in the United States. The Fridley-based medical device maker said the Vertex Max Reconstruction System uses multi-axial screws, rods, hooks and connecting components to assist in stabilizing the cervical and upper thoracic spine during spinal fusion surgery.
