BOSTON SCIENTIFIC SAYS STENT HAS AN EDGE ON J&J
Boston Scientific said a study it commissioned shows that its Taxus Express cardiac stent has an edge over Johnson & Johnson's rival product, according to the Wall Street Journal's online edition on Sunday. The study found "substantial differences" between Taxus and J&J's Cypher in the categories of death, serious injury, reclogging of the arteries, or restenosis, and blood-clotting, or thrombosis, Boston Scientific spokesman Paul Donovan said.
