TEVA GETS FINAL APPROVAL FOR OXYCODONE ER TABLETS

The FDA has granted final approval to Teva Pharmaceutical's oxycodone extended-release
tablets in 10-, 20- and 40-mg dosage strengths. Oxycodone ER tablets are the
generic equivalent of Purdue Pharma's Oxycontin tablets, a product indicated
for the treatment of moderate-to-severe pain when continuous analgesia is needed
for an extended period of time.
