ONE-THIRD OF HIV/AIDS PATIENTS RECEIVE DISCOUNT DRUGS

Some 6,000 HIV/AIDS patients in Vietnam have been supplied with anti-retroviral virus (ARV) medicine at low prices, according to the Pharmaceutical Management Department. The figure represents one-third of those who are in need of ARV, which is sold for about US $300-700 per dose.
