GRAFTON DRUG MAKER CUTS STAFF BY ONE-THIRD
Cedarburg Pharmaceuticals announced Monday that it will lay off 21 of its workers due to low fourth quarter sales in 2005. The bulk of the job cuts come from the production
and quality control departments and are effective immediately. As a result of
the layoffs, the company has reduced its workforce from 67 to 46 employees, and
will move its plant operations from three to two shifts per day.
