US FDA Establishes Latin American Presence With Costa Rica Office

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has opened an office in Costa Rica, its first official permanent presence in Latin America, after opening offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, China, late last year as part of a program to ensure the safety of foreign imports in the U.S.
