In 1956, Benjamin Bloom, a professor and university examiner at the University of Chicago, headed a group of educational psychologists that developed a classification of different objectives and skills that educators set for their students, The Taxonomy of Educational Objectives, otherwise known as “Bloom’s taxonomy.”
