FDA Draft May Permit Adaptive Design in Confirmatory Trials

The FDA is expected to release draft guidance later this year that permits adaptive clinical trial designs to be used in confirmatory studies according to a member of PhRMA’s Adaptive Design Working Group, which met with the FDA in November 2006, July 2007 and April 2008.
