Findings from an ongoing Senate inquiry on clinical trial practices have led Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) to ask FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg if there are financial interests that the FDA would consider too significant for a clinical investigator to be involved in a study.
