Low-Dose Aspirin Improves Performance of Test for Detecting Colorectal Cancer
Use of low-dose aspirin prior to a newer type of fecal occult blood test is associated with a higher sensitivity for detecting advanced colorectal tumors, compared to no aspirin use, according to a study in the December 8 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.
