FDA OKs PET Agent for Prostate Cancer
The FDA has approved the positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent Choline C 11 Injection for production and use in detecting recurrent prostate cancer. Choline C 11 Injection — manufactured by the Mayo Clinic — must be produced in a specialized facility and used shortly after production, the agency said in a statement.
