Johns Hopkins Students Design Device to Reduce Need for Repeated Breast Cancer Surgeries
Johns Hopkins students have designed a device, which is still in the prototype stage, that will allow the excision of breast tumors quickly. The device is designed to eliminate the need for women to return for follow-up surgery to remove residual cancerous tissue after a lumpectomy.
