CDRH Resolving Marketing Concerns Via Phone Call Counseling
CDRH sometimes resolves marketing concerns with a simple phone call to the devicemaker, an agency employee said Sept. 16 at a conference in Washington, D.C., hosted by the Food & Drug Law Institute. The tactic came about because CDRH only has two full-time employees dedicated to advertising and promotions and must work efficiently, said Toni Stifano, a consumer safety officer at the center. Most of the phone calls cover content on a company’s website, Stifano noted.
